Terms for using Star, by Universe Allstar, athlete age verification.
These terms apply to Star, by Universe Allstar. They do not replace Event Producer, gym, or event rules.
Star is an age-verification card for cheer and dance athletes. A parent or guardian submits a file. After Universe Star staff review it, the family can show a card with the current headshot and current age, which updates on the athlete’s birthday. Event Producers and gyms may require that card at check-in.
A Star card is not event registration, a bid, a roster spot, or permission to compete. Events still apply their own age-division rules. Universe Star staff may refuse or expire a card when the file does not match or when the headshot or annual plan is no longer current.
The parent or guardian must submit true information and a current, unfiltered headshot of the athlete named on the file. A new headshot is required every year, including on a lifetime plan. An annual subscription must stay paid, or the athlete must have lifetime verification. If the annual subscription lapses, the card shows as expired. Rush is an optional 10-hour review add-on, not a separate plan.
If a gym or Event Producer invited you, you can use that same email to open Star and finish the athlete profile. Signing out of Star also signs out of that account.
