The Principle of Aligned Ownership
The industry is ready for a championship built differently. Universe is designed around a permanent Event Producer-controlled operating-company structure in which qualified participating EPs, collectively as a class, hold 100% of the ownership of the championship operating company and 60% of the voting authority. Professional management protects the brand from corporate capture and provides technology, infrastructure, continuity and execution, with 40% voting authority written into Universe’s permanent founding operating agreements.

Qualifying Event Producers participating in the inaugural season may receive official Founders Producer recognition for 2026–2027 and help shape early operating standards, technology and workflows.

Universe is being built by people who understand event production, gym operations, and what families actually experience on championship weekend.
Designed for Long-Term Independence
The ownership and governance model is intended to remain durable, independent, and resistant to unilateral corporate capture. Major decisions, including budget approvals and venue and location bid approvals, are designed to require broad alignment at the Universe Leadership Summit, the annual Event Producer conference. The 2027 Summit will be held in September. Exact date and location will be announced.

Universe is designed around a unified scoring system that allows teams to bring routines from multiple industry governing score sheets. Rules, resources, and updates will be published from a single source of truth.
